![]() You could tell just by her smirk she was a “bad girl.”ĮTA: I’m wrong on the original ending. Kind of like Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Regardless, my favorite Goldilocks book from childhood drew Goldilocks so she looked like an entitled little snot. I want to say the original ending of Goldilocks was that the bears killed her, but as time went on we changed that ending. Thought it could come in handy for others. This seemed like a more appropriate telling. Daddy Bear then calls Daddy Pig to come pick up George. He helps Baby Bear make all the beds again, helps Daddy Bear fix the chair he broke, and helps Mommy Bear prepare a new bowl for Baby Bear to eat. George gets lost int he woods and enters the house, does all the normal things Goldilocks does.Īt the end when George gets found out he apologies for everything and tries to make amends. Most of the time he picks George (Peppa's little brother). I tell the story set in the universe of Peppa Pig, and I let him choose which character is walking in the woods and goes into the house. So I decided to change things up a little bit. Somehow a tale about a kid who walks into a strangers house without asking, breaks their furniture, eats their food, messes up all their beds, sleeps in one, and then just runs away to never come back without facing any repercussions, didn't really seem like a good story to tell. Now I've never been a big fan of the Goldilocks story. He lately has been asking me to tell him stories without the books as part of his bedtime routine, and especially likes hearing Goldilocks and the 3 bears. I Just wanted to share a recent story time development with my 2 year old.
